WAVY V is celebrating the release of their single "The Fools Have Gone To Bed," which follows their vinyl releases W and A earlier in 2019.Described as "Milwaukee's answer to the Zombies," WAVY V (pronounced "way-vee vee") invents psychedelia-tinged chamber pop arrangements that take unexpected turns around multi-instrumental and vocal harmonies.

The Milwaukee psych-pop group L’Resorts is a collaboration between Jaill’s Vincent Kircher and Lady Cannon’s Martha Cannon. The group’s tropical sound is pure summer, yet their first release was ironically a Christmas EP. In that spirit of contradiction, their self-titled debut full length is filled almost exclusively with songs of rejection and heartbreak, and yet it’s one of the perkiest, most chipper indie-pop records out of Milwaukee this year. The group has plans to release yet another Christmas EP this year, follow shortly after by a second full length album in February 2020.

Rooted in folk but hardly bound to it, Caley Conway's inventive style ranges from jazz to post-rock, hints at the familiar, and embraces a dissonant beauty. The Milwaukee native’s breezy voice and disarming wit belie a deep complexity that has earned her praise as “the next big thing in folk music” by No Depression Magazine. Paste Magazine praised her 2016 full-length Silk for Life as “an ambitious piece that puts Conway on the map." 2018 saw her sharing stages with the likes of Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, Joan Shelley and more. Her latest EP, Surrounded Middle, out this April, is called "one of this year's best local albums," by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
