      Special Needs & Mental Health Resource Fair 2019

      ABOUT 2019 RESOURCE FAIR: Germantown School District & the SPED Parent Advisory Committee are excited to be hosting the Special Needs Resource Fair for the 3rd time! We are also excited to be adding Mental Health to the fair topic this year! We hope you can join us in representing your organization as a resource vendor. We first hosted the resource fair in 2016 with 27 vendors in attendance. In 2017 we hosted the fair for a second time and were thrilled to have a total of 70 vendors in attendance! We had such a great amount of feedback from both our vendors and our guests that we decided to bring back the fair again but wanted to reach out to yet a bigger audience this year. So we have added Mental Health organizations and providers to the event, not just in the area of Special Needs but to all who would benefit from these resources. GSD reaches out to all CESA 1 school districts for both schools and families to attend, as well as the general public. We have invited over 160 various organizations to attend as resource vendors for our guests this year. Whether you attended either of our past events or if this will be your first time, GSD would love for your organization to join us this year with a table to display information in representing your organization to students, families, teachers/staff and the community so guests can learn more about your organization and what you offer to our area. Our event is open to the public and at no cost to both vendors and guests. EVENT DETAILS FOR VENDORS: 4:30-5:45 Arrival and set-up for vendors 5:45 ALL Vendors must be set-up 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Fair is open to the general public 8:00 Fair closes. GSD will have volunteers available to assist vendors in table take down & loading if needed. All Vendors may start to arrive at 4:30 and must be set up by 5:45. Each organization that registers as a vendor and will be given 1 table, approximately 5' long, to use for your display. Chairs will also be provided behind each table based on the number of people attending per organization. Vendors may pull up to the Field House to unload displays and then be asked to park in the parking lot behind the Field House when you have finished unloading. Please check in for your table location prior to setting up. If you have requested to have power hook up with your table, please bring an extension cord. There will be refreshments available in the lobby but we ask that no food or drink be brought into the Field House. If you will need a 2nd table for your organization, please indicate so in the comments section when completing the registration form. Reminders will be going out by email to all registered vendors with final details, including a map to GHS, of GHS Field House and parking details by November 15.
