Doors at 9:00pm | Show at 10pmTickets $10 Advance | $12 DOS Last Crack formed in Madison, WI in 1987, and from 1989 - 1992, the band was signed with Roadracer/Roadrunner records, and released two albums in over 23 countries. Their first album, "Sinister Funkhouse #17", was produced by Randy Green at Prince's Paisley Park Studios in Minnesota. Sinister garnered much fanfare and attention as the cover featured charismatic singer Buddo naked in an archer pose against a blood spattered and dripping wall. The second album, "Burning Time", was produced by Dave Jerden (Alice in Chains, Jane's Addiction) and was highly respected in the industry. It is still a cult recording today.Last Crack broke up 3 months after the release of Burning Time due to managerial and band conflict during such a stressful time period. For a brief time in 1994, Last Crack brought in singer Shawn Anthony Brown and released an unknown, milestone album called "Runheadstartscreaming". This little known gem featured the unknown singer and 11 totally awesome Last Crack songs that have been re-released and remastered on Rokker Records ( 2002, the band reformed and played a reunion show that was recorded and released called, "Burning Funkhouse Live", also released on Rokker Records. In 2009 the original line-up of the band reunited for a show at Scatz in Middleton, WI. The entire night was broadcast worldwide online via Infernal Rock Radio and video of every song that was played is available for viewing at Currently the band is on an indefinite haitus while it's members play in other projects: Vocalist Buddo and guitarist Paul Schluter have reformed their former band Magic 7. Bassist Todd Winger and Drummer Chris Havey are playing together in the band Faces For Radio. Guitarist Don Bakken is the lead vocalist and guitarist for The Donny Bakken Band. Vocalist Shawn Anthony Brown is pursuing his solo career after playing in many other great bands since his time in Last Crack. He has recently recorded his first single with Paul Schluter at Megatone Studios. Original drummer Phil Buerstatte is doing lead vocals and drums on his own solo material as well.Last Crack's classic merchandise can be found for sale on Ebay and at the band's website, Revolution-X - The chemistry of four unique styles coming together to create our own sound was undeniable.
