Facilitated by Ann Treleven-Carl and Brie Lundberg Designed by Jean Illsley Clarke, author of Growing Up Again; Parenting Ourselves, Parenting Our Children, this 6-week session of parenting workshops offers to empower us with easy-to-use tools we need to Grow up Again in order to parent our children in ways that allow them to feel more lovable and capable. Meeting Dates: Oct 22, 29, Nov 12, 19, 26 and Dec 3, 2019 5:30-7:30pm (no meeting on November 5, Election Day!) Contact Ann and Brie via GUAfacilitators@gmail.com WE ARE READY TO MEET YOU WHEREVER YOU ARE IN YOUR PARENTING JOURNEY AND GROW TOGETHER! ABOUT YOUR FACILITATORS: BRIE Brie Lundberg, MPH, MA Systematic Theology, is a mom and stepmom of five kids age 10-19, Nonviolent Communication facilitator, and runs a private coaching practice through which she offers one-on-one support to clients seeking to improve their relationships with family members, partners, colleagues, and themselves. Her love language is being asked to play a game of cards, and her growing edge is building stamina for racial justice work. Brie and her husband Eric are avid travelers. ANN Ann Treleven-Carl, B.S.Psychology, contributing member of The Womb Room MKE Collective, and trained by Jean Illsley Clarke as a facilitator of the 'Growing Up Again; Helping Ourselves, Helping Our Children' material and the 'How Much Is Enough? Everything You Need to Know to Steer Clear of Overindulgence and Raise Likeable, Responsible and Respectful Children' material, is a mother of two, ages 10 and 17. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, she managed the Self-Esteem Center in Minneapolis, working for the author/trainor, Jean Illsley Clarke, for 4 years. Since then, she's been a part-time Social Skills Facilitator at LifeStriders for 7 years, managed to survive parenting an adolescent daughter struggling with POTS (now a thriving teen planning a bright future) and most recently enjoyed working as a WIN (What I Need) support teacher in the Elmbrook School District. Ann and her husband, Kevin, are grateful for & attribute much of their success surviving marriage and parenthood to the 'Growing Up Again' material for the past 20 years.
